XPONENTIAL Europe 2026 incorporates European Defense as a new thematic focus

The next edition of XPONENTIAL Europe, to be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from March 24 to 26, 2026, announces the addition of a new thematic focus: “European Defense.”

XPONENTIAL Europe 2026 focuses on the military applications of autonomous systems, thus expanding its scope to one of the most relevant and urgent areas of the current geopolitical landscape.

With this initiative, the event seeks to highlight the crucial role that autonomous technologies play in the field of defense, covering applications in reconnaissance, protection, communications, and critical infrastructure. The responsible adoption of these technologies is increasingly considered essential to ensuring security and stability in Europe. As a leading event in autonomous systems and robotics, XPONENTIAL Europe will bring together experts from industry, academia, the military, and government agencies to jointly explore the potential of critical security and dual-use technologies—from cyber defense and system interoperability to the development of common European standards.

XPONENTIAL Europe 2026 will focus on seven key domains of modern defense: Air, Land, Sea, Space, Human-Machine Interaction, Cooperative Autonomy, and Hybrid Platforms — each representing technological advances geared toward efficiency, security, and ethical responsibility.

European defense technologies will play a prominent role in the conference program, responding to the growing need for collaboration between government, academic, and industrial actors, including security policymakers in the context of NATO and European strategic alliances.
